1. IN WINDOWS EXPLORER YOU CAN FIND YOUR QUAKE DIRECTORY HERE:

	C:\documents and settings\(yourUsername)\application data\id Software\quakelive\baseq3\

WinXP: %appdata%\id Software\quakelive\home\baseq3\
Vista: %userprofile%\AppData\LocalLow\idSoftware\quakelive\home\baseq3\

2. NEXT CREATE A FOLDER CALLED "ui" INSIDE OF THE BASEQ3 DIRECTORY.  

3. EXTRACT THE CONTENTS OF v4_pudrick_left.zip INTO THE UI FOLDER YOU SHOULD NOW HAVE \baseq3\ui\v4_pudrick_left.cfg and v4_pudrick_left.menu and ETC ALL WITHIN THAT FOLDER... 
RUNS DIRECTLY AT YOU

4. NEXT - LOAD QUAKC LIVE:

5. BRING DOWN THE CONSOLE BY SIMULTANEOUSLY HITTING THE CTRL KEY, THE ALT KEY, AND THE TILDE KEY TOGETHER EXTREMELY HARD KEYBOARD SHOULD MAKE A CLANGCLANG NOISE IF U DOING IT PROPERLY.  THE TILDE KEY IS LOCATED DIRECTLY TO THE LEFT OF THE 1-9 SET OF KEYS ABOVE THE LETTER ROWS ON A STANDARD DELL KEYBOARD LOLOL JUST KIDDING SCRUB OK NEXT.

6. TYPE seta cg_hudfiles "ui\v4_pudrick\v4_pudrick_left.cfg" PRESS ENTER

7. TYPE LOADHUD

8. PRESS ENTER

9. GET SOME.

this new hud comes with a pre-round heads up display that is removed during regular round play.  it is large and obtrusive and filled with stats(mostly useless)  
IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO REMOVE THIS AWESOME COOL NEW TECH PATENT PENDING HULK, SIMPLY REMOVE
THIS LINE FROM THE CFG FILE>

If you wish to use these 2 custom crosshairs you will need to assign cvars to your weapon binds.  ie. weapon 1;cg_drawcrosshair 2.
for the cvartest command i am using crosshair 2 and 3 to be placeholders for my two custom crosshairs.
