so, how to run the itemtiming:

simple:
- leave the sorting of the files (ui- folder oder baseq3) as it is.
- load this hud by typing in console: /cg_hudfiles "ui/matrix.cfg"
- and then: /loadhud
- start a match, type in console: /exec ffa <enter>
- now press plus on the keypad, and two numbers (from 00-59)
- now a small red number should pop up

if you dont want to use my hud:
- you still have to use a custom hud
- if you want default huds, they are also available on this site, @ beginning
- copy the timing.menu to you hud (ui-folder)
- open teh hud-conig and ad: loadMenu { "ui/timing.menu" }
- put ffa.cfg in your baseq3 folder
- /exec ffa, and your done

ffa.cfg or team.cfg or duel.cfg work the same. but team.cfg and duel.cfg are not so much up to date (still work with "print" instead of showing in hud). team-cfg work with team_chat. (its actually cool to give teammates the timing info)

===========================

tl, dr: choose a pu (ra, mh, quad) with slash, minus, enter, plus). then type two numbers. thats all. all on the keypad!

=================================

HOW to tweak the files:
- use notepad++
- ffa.cfg is the most up-to-date file!
- understand how the configs work, open the timing.menu too
- terms like "raz" or "mhz" or "quadz" are actually hud-elements!
- if you want to replace something, use the "replace" function from notepad++
- duel and team.cfg are not so much up to date, but still working, i dont care atm

===================================

ui-folder: (it would be awful to put everything in one file)
- matrix.menu is teh acual hud
- skillrating, test and timing are hud-elements ( what it says )
- haa contains the oldy numbers for health, armor and ammo
