Installation:

Put both files into \baseq3\ui
Path: C:\Documents and Settings\User\Application Data\id Software\quakelive\home\baseq3\ui (at least for Windows XP)
The folder is not there, you need to create it.

To use the hud, start Quake Live and enter into the console:

/cg_hudfiles ui/RexCramer_Hud.cfg

Configuration:

The autoexec.cfg is my config (to use it you need to open it and change my name to yours). Just put it in your baseq3 folder (that one where qzconfig.cfg and repconfig.cfg are located).
All settings are sorted and adjusted for maximum fps, best visibility, and a high contrast between maps, models, crosshair, and weapons.
A script for demo playback is also included (hit key "end" to activate it while watching a demo and use your arrow keys for normal play, pausing, slow motion, and fast forward).
All new settings are added up to and including the update from December 15, 2011.

Everything works with a QL standard account - no Premium or Pro needed. You should save your old configuration before starting QL with that autoexec.cfg.
For further adjustments and additions it is recommended to always (and only) change your autoexec.cfg - you will never again lose improvements you've made once.
